The Beginning

The local economy was built by small businesses and hands-on industry. Commerce was local, relationships were personal, and the Chamber began connecting businesses.

As manufacturing declined, retail, services, and professional industries rose. Businesses expanded beyond local markets and into regional sales. The Chamber worked to support evolving businesses.
